RCCG Rallying For 40m Souls – Lebi

Ushers in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Region 2, Lagos State, embarked on the RCCG Vision 2032 to grow the church to 40 million members by expanding through an “explosive and expansive growth model”.

The rally, which commenced from First Bank, Bariga Bus Stop, to Region 2 Headquarters, Plot 302, 0shodi- Oworonshoki Expressway, Gbagada, Lagos, last week Saturday, was in line with God’s word that the gospel of Jesus Christ should be preached to all the corners of the world to draw men unto Christ.
Yemi Lebi, Pastor-in-charge of Region 2 of the RCCG, who addressed journalists after the rally, said that the RCCG aims to achieve Vision 2032 by establishing 400,000 units of 100 members each across Nigeria through parish planting, upgrading existing parishes, and utilising mobile churches.

Lebi, while explaining the rally for membership of 40 million souls, said: “You know that the moment someone is freed by the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very critical that every soul must go out and look for other souls who are unsaved so that we can bring them to the Kingdom of God.

“That is why when someone is saved, he is not thinking about this world. For us in the RCCG, we have decided to have a well-planned out programme so that we can reach out to the unsaved and bring as many souls as possible into the Kingdom of God.

“We have a plan to ensure that we have millions of people that we bring to the Kingdom of God. That is why the ushers in RCCG Region 2 decided to plan this programme.

“I want to believe that you are aware that we have this going on in centres in Lagos. We have people reaching out to them to bring them to the Kingdom of God,” Pastor Lebi said.
Speaking on the global challenges resulting from man’s disobedience to God’s plan for the world, Pastor Lebi said: “The Bible says that in the last days, there will be confusion, perilous times and all manner of things. We are not surprised at this.

“For us, the only way we can overcome this is to go back to the one who created the world. When we all come back to Jesus Christ, we will see that things will begin to change.

“And that’s why we pray for Nigeria, as our aim is not just to win souls to the kingdom of God. We pray for Nigeria and as soon as we have people come unto the fold andsubmit their lives to Jesus Christ, I believe that there will be changes in this country.”

He advised all Christians to key into Vision 2032 of the RCCG by winning souls to the Kingdom of God.

Also, Chairman, Vision 2032 Planning Committee, Region 2 for Ushering Department, Taiwo Adewunmi, said that the rally was an exclusive drive for growth of the RCCG in line with the vision of General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, to increase the membership of the church to 40 million by the year 2032.

To achieve this, Adewunmi said, “We are going to have 40,000 parishes with a minimum of 100 members. If you multiply 40,000 by 100, you get a minimum of 40 million.

“What we are doing today is just evangelism, to create awareness for what we call the expansive drive for growth for the RCCG.”

He called on everyone to join them as the Kingdom of God is wide and big enough to accommodate everyone who comes to Jesus Christ.

Regional Head Usher, Region 2, RCCG, Lagos, Anthony Oluwajobi, said that the programme was to key into the vision of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and to fulfill the commandment of the Lord Jesus that “we must go to the whole world and preach the gospel.”
