The general overseer of Salvation Ministry, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, narrates how he started the work of God in abject poverty. His story shows that persistence and determination is the key to success. Success is a slow process and requires lots of patience before you achieve it.
According to Pastor David Ibiyeomie, The ministry started in a sitting room that was also a bedroom for some members who had nowhere to stay. They had wooden chairs, no speakers, or sound systems, yet they were not complaining to God.
After the sitting room, they move to a canopy. The only time they used the microphone was during their first anniversary, and the microphone was so bad that it could not talk very well. The floor of the canopy was palm kernel shells. That was how they continued to suffer it before God started blessing them to date.
